Hands down some of the best brisket I've ever had in my 47 years of life. DELICIOUS! The pit beans also a winner. I had the root beer BBQ sauce. It was yummmmmy. 🧡🧡🧡

My server was helpful, and attentive. One of my favorite places to go. Even more so now. Good gluten free options.

Pork BBQ place in Chelsea has great atmosphere excellent service and really good food. Good flavor BBQ with a selection of five different sauces, all of which were good (some obviously better than others). Without sauce, the BBQ was a little dry; and the prices were a little on the expensive side. But the waitstaff was helpful,knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Also, the atmosphere evoked an old world style and seemed ideal for a BBQ place.

The food was excellent. My fiance and I got the Nashville Hot Chicken and shared it between the two of us and it was more than enough! Also, the Red Jacket Amber Jacket is a really good brew that they serve there.

Yum! We always have a great experience here. I've had the ribs and they're pretty great, but if you have not tried the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, you are seriously missing out. One of my favorite sandwiches in the area - its so good! Lots of spice! Wide variety of items, love that they provide so many BBQ sauce options on the table for you to choose. Jiffy Cornbread on the side is also awesome. Great for families with a solid kid's menu. Service is consistently decent - never had a problem with friendliness or efficiency. We'll be back again soon.

I loved my BBQ Sliders. While I prefer a bark when I make my own bbq, I can appreciate that they do their meats naked since seasoning is a very personal preference.

Loved everything from the staff to the atmosphere. Upscale food options with a low key atmosphere. Bring friends or clients, family or a date. Food portions are big so come hungry or planning to take home leftovers. We tried many items on the menu and liked them all. Some items are average but most were above average and we will definitely be returning.

Love the food here... All of it! Piggy Parfait is a treat, get it while you can.

Although the restaurant was very busy, the food and service were both great. I got the chicken and waffles. The price was on point and the portion was huge. I do wish it came with more syrup, but the exceptional fried chicken made up for it. My wife got the drunken apple pulled pork sandwich and really liked it.

The food was great, but I was disappointed with my take out order. I gave more than a 20% tip on a take out order, and when I opened it to eat, I was disappointed when my bag did not contain plastic utensils, and there wasn't a single napkin in the bag. So I had to eat with my hands, and had to wipe them on my pants. One star removed for service.

Well, we sat at curb side. Was asked to move was at the owners table. No reserve sign, nothing marked to say a private table. Was served our meal. Asked for silverware, ketchup for fries, BBQ for sandwich and husband offered a water refill and I wasn't offered a pop refill. The waitress knew it was our first time there as I told her when asked what their favorite meal was. Need to tweak curbside dining a little. We were passing through on way home. Food was good. Enjoyed sitting in the fresh air and pallet walled curbside dining.

I must stop. Mac and Cheese is out of this world.Good beer also.

My wife and I love this place. We stopped in for lunch on our honeymoon and we're impressed with the great BBQ. Smokehouse 52 is a cut above other Barbecue restaurants in the area.

I LOVE Smokehouse 52! I just ate at another BBQ place in Michigan and it just reminded me how much I love this place. They can be pricey but they include sides, their food is delicious, the service is stellar, and their sauces are DELICIOUS! I recommend the ribs, the fried chicken, the pulled pork, the piggy mac, the brisket grilled romaine salad, the nacho plate, burnt ends, and their mac and cheese (I'm working my way through their menu, havent found something I dislike yet) for sure. You really cant go wrong!!!!

Outstanding as always! Our server Taylor was festive and fun loving and knowledgable about limited menu otions due to Covid.

We always love the food and the service is always great. The outdoor seating was inventive and serves well in these unusual times. It ain't cheap but it is great!

Very slow service. Ordered the pulled chicken sandwich. Not good. Chicken looked like it was picked off a boiled whole chicken. No flavor, no BBQ sauce. Overpriced for what it was.

We drive from Pinckney to Chelsea almost every Friday for dinner. They excellent food with consistency. The meat is delicious, including the chicken, brisket and the smoked salmon my favorite. Not to discount the fact that the service is also great and the food always comes fast. Did I forget something? Yes! The price is also great, we are a family of 5 and this is affordable and delicious. Just try you won't regret!

Amazing service and amazing food! Try the 52 bbq sauce it's amazing! Burnt ends, burgers, ribs all worth the trip! The salad was even delicious and all fresh ingredients.

It's pretty good. Could be better. Both the barbecue and the sides were pretty standard. If that's what you're looking for, this is your place.

Excellent brisket with no fat. Good fried chicken and hot chicken sliders. Beans and Mac & cheese great. Potatoes salad good but not all potatoes cooked to same consistency.

My wife and I had lunch out for first time since Covid. I have to say it was the worst meal eaten in years.The restaurant was only half full so no excuse for slow service. The lunch was very small portions and only room temperature. The fries were cold and corn bread was served as it just came out of the refrigerator I have had food from there Saline location and it was very good. I would be cautious in eating here til they get there act together.Higher prices and.below average portions

Love the outdoor seating! Great economical but attractive approach. Could be a little better about reaching across our full plates to grab dirty dishes from the far side of the table. Food was good. Staff was attentive.

Service is very good. Atmosphere is nice. Sweet potato fries are very good. Barbecue is lacking. Not having the barbecue on the meat was very disappointing and surprising. The taste was soso.

Great atmosphere and also had outside dinning. Started with the BBQ Quesadilla that was a large serving and could even been a meal in its self. Had the Main Street Mac as a main dish and was very good. It was very flavorful with the addition of thier home made onion dip added along with the smoked brisket and cheese. The only draw back was a longer than expected wait for food with the amount of visible customers. However it was worth the wait and staff was very attentive to drinks needing refills and any needs I had. I hope to return to try more of the BBQ they offer.
